Hi!
We are a family of four - Clairet, Bec, Ollie & Sam. We bought Donnington in 2020 and over two years have lovingly renovated the small dwelling and restored the landscape. While this is our weekender as often as we can get here, we have a large ongoing project through Land for Wildlife to mitigate weed growth and help our local flora & fauna to thrive.
The story behind
Donnington Ridge was named in honour of Neville Green. Neville was a strapper as a lad, and his best memory in life was of Captain Donnington - the fastest horse on a wet track! We wouldn’t have this place without Neville’s kindness - and in his memory you’ll find some images of Captain Donnington and Neville’s Akubra in the cabin.
